Show day, made simpler

Plan it properly.
Run it smoothly.

Load-in

1pm standard access

Main Hall load-in is via Renfrew Street at the rear of the venue, down the car-park slope and into stage right. Earlier access can be arranged in advance at £55 + VAT per hour, subject to availability.

Crew call

Two in. Four out.

Because the Main Hall is a club space rather than a permanent show build, all shows require a minimum crew call of two people in and four people out. This is arranged during the advance.

Timings

Clear live window

Doors are typically 7pm, with a strict 10:30pm curfew. Build changeovers, content and running times around that window from the start.

Backstage & security

Advance the details

Dressing rooms, riders, merchandise, additional barrier requirements, pit security and meet-and-greet arrangements should all be confirmed before the show day.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Still need something specific? Send your date and requirements to the venue team — the earlier we speak, the easier the event is to shape.

What does Main Hall hire cost?

The current standard Main Hall package is £1,060 + VAT: £200 hall hire, £200 PA, £220 lighting, £220 front-of-house engineering and £220 monitors. PRS at 4.2% of net ticket sales, VAT, mandatory Main Hall crew and any additional requirements are excluded.

Can we use the video wall or a backdrop?

Artist artwork is preferably displayed on the upstage video wall, supplied as JPEG or PNG before load-in. Touring backdrops must be advanced, presented on arrival and supported by valid fire certification.

Where is front of house?

Sound control is positioned centrally at the rear of the hall in the drop balcony, with lighting situated to the right. A floor position can only be considered for lower-capacity shows and must be authorised in advance.

Can we bring touring rigging or follow spots?

No. There are no usable flying points for touring equipment and no suitable follow-spot position or power supply within the room.

Where can merchandise go?

For shows under 500 tickets, merchandise is normally positioned in the first booth on the left side of the hall. For larger shows, Snapshots Bar may be used. Confirm your merch plan during the advance.
